1988 Ferrari 328 GTS Classiche Certified

The 328 GTS model, together with the fixed roof 328 GTB, were the final developments of the naturally aspirated transverse V8 engine 2 seat series. Updating and revising the 308 GTS this example from Ferrari included many improvements benefitting its drivers.

Introduced at the 1985 Frankfurt Salon the 328 GTS increased the capacity of its V8 engine over the 308 Quattrovalvole model to 3185cc. The increased capacity alongside a new electronic ignition system resulted in a claimed power output of 270bhp at 7000rpm.

Pininfarina paid particular attention to styling details giving a more comfortable sporty feel to the 328 GTS. Cabin ergonomics as well as the shape of the seats were revised to improve the overall comfort for the driver making open-air cruises a joyful and thrilling experience.

This particular example holds Ferrari’s coveted “Classiche” certification ensuring it is maintained to the original factory specifications and standards. With authenticity on the car’s originality Classiche certification is highly sought after amongst collector’s worldwide.
