So concludes another year at the Montreal Auto Salon. This year produced more great times as always showcasing a small portion of our world at Automobiles Etcetera. On the 7th floor we had the opportunity to have patrons truly Enter The Extraordinary.
For the first time showcased publicly was our newly acquired 1965 Shelby GT350 OVC Competition Model. 1 of only 36 produced by Shelby’s ”Original Venice Crew” the example takes you back in time to a what its like to witness a brand new 65’ Shelby Mustang. This specific example bares the number of legendary race car driver Ken Miles and is personally signed by his son Peter and several others from the OVC production team.
Showcasing one of Bugatti’s finest produced vehicles we had the joy of bringing our Chiron Super Sport. The first to arrive in Canada this stunning 16 cylinder monster is a true depiction of performance and luxury. Further celebrating 110 years of Bugatti in our booth we had the Baby II. A 75% scale, fully electric reincarnation of the iconic Bugatti Type 35 made by the Little Car Company in official collaboration with Bugatti.
A very rare sight we got to showcase at the Salon was a unique Ferrari Monza SP1 and SP2 duo. Both vehicles, respectively rare at 1 of 500 each are perfectly matched having been spec’d as perfect opposites, red & silver / silver & red.
An example that caught many and for good reason was our Aston Martin DBS Volante 770 Ultimate. A 1 of 199 that marks the last occasion Aston Martin will be using it’s iconic V12 engine.
Another first public viewing was of our Ferrari 599 GTO. Highly sought after by Ferrari collectors and automotive enthusiasts alike the 599 GTO with only 599 examples is known as the road-homologated version of the extreme 599XX.
Rounding out our display we added our highly spec’d Ferrari 488 Pista Spider, who’s colour combination and staggering presence made for unforgettable impressions. Right next to it, a Ferrari hybrid marvel, the all new 296 GTB with its eye watering 819hp performance.
