At a glance attendees at the Montreal Auto Show saw a Porsche 911, upon a closer look you’ll find a restored and reimagined work of art featuring one of the finest internal combustion engines ever built.

The Singer DLS, broken down to “Dynamics & Lightweight Study” is a complete rehaul of the 964. To clarify Singer Group restores and reimagines 1989 to 1994 Porsche 911s, based on the 964 chassis at the direction of its clients. This results in one of the most be-spoke automotive personalization processes on the market.

Singer works in partnership with some of the automotive world’s best brands including Brembo, BBS, Recaro, Michelin and more. Most notably the true potential of the DLS is unlocked through its collaboration with Williams Advanced Engineering. The naturally aspirated 4.0L air-cooled flat-six engine produces 500HP with the ability to rev all the way up to 9000rpm. The performance of the vehicle is complemented by numerous carbon fiber design choices that reduce the weight significantly to the standard 964.

Before its debut at Monterey Car Week Singer had confirmed that all 75 of its planned DLS restorations had been sold. One of these very limited examples found its home here at Automobiles Etcetera.
